The Iowa native did a little bit of everything for the Tar Heels in his career including playing point guard for Roy Williams. But for this list, Paige is the clear choice for the shooting guard position.

Paige started in 139 of the 141 games he played in at North Carolina, leaving averaging 13.3 points, 4.3 assists and shooting 37 percent from the three-point line in his career. While it took him a few games to get comfortable at the college level, Paige was an instant scoring threat as a shooter for the Tar Heels even in his freshman year.

You could see right away the potential he had as a point guard and he only got better and stronger as the years went on. With North Carolina bringing in Nate Britt and Joel Berry in future classes, it allowed Paige to play shooting guard at times and it certainly helped UNC’s offense.

He also has one of the more iconic shots in program history as well, draining a then game-tying three-pointer in the 2016 National Championship game and if it wasn’t for Kris Jenkins shot seconds later, Paige would be the hero.

Over the course of his career, Paige racked up the honors at Carolina. He was named to the All-ACC Tournament team three times, was a member of the All-ACC Freshman Team, was a two-time All-ACC selection, the 2014 ACC Most Improved Player and a NCAA All-Region selection.

He fell a few points short of winning a national title, but Paige will go down as one of the best shooters in UNC history.
