A five-star recruiting target for the UNC Basketball program will take two visits to Chapel Hill with the first coming in September

The North Carolina Tar Heels are set to host various top recruiting targets this Fall including a couple of five-star prospects. One of those prospects that will be on campus is five-star small forward Greg Brown.

The Austin, Texas native recently cut his list down to five teams with North Carolina, Memphis, Auburn, Texas and Kentucky making the cut. Brown has already scheduled official visits to Memphis, Auburn and Texas, with UNC and Kentucky still expected to receive official visits but have not been set yet.

However, on Monday night Rivals recruiting analyst Corey Evans tweeted the news that Brown is expected to be on campus at the end of September. The recruit will be in Chapel Hill on September 27th for “Late Night With Roy” as an unofficial visit:

In addition to that, Brown will also make an official visit sometime later in 2019 or early 2020 depending on UNC’s schedule. The recruit told Scout’s Evan Daniels last week that he is setting up an official to UNC later in the year and wants to come to a “big game.” The Tar Heels’ home game against Virginia this upcoming season was mentioned.

UNC getting two visits from Brown is huge and should certainly help their chances in landing the five-star recruit. With five-star center DayRon Sharpe already signed, adding a player like Brown to the post would be huge for the Tar Heels, giving them two talented big men.
