Josh Hall

Class of 2020 prospect Josh Hall made a decision to reclassify from the 2019 class in order to work on his game, and better prepare himself for the college game. Apparently, it was a good decision.

Unranked prior to February 2019, Hall entered the 247Sports Composite on Valentine’s day at No. 129. He’s up 86 spots from that now, and firmly inside the class’s top-50 at No. 43.

"“The decision to reclassify has impacted me a lot,” Hall told Stock Risers. “I never reclassed for school purposes. It was based on what I felt I needed to work on & it gave me a little bit more time to work on those things & improve. But it was all a blessing.”"

Now, the 6-foot-9, 190-pound small forward has nearly two-dozen scholarship offers in his pocket, and from some of college basketball’s elite programs. Cincinnati, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Miami, Texas, Virginia Tech and Xavier have all offered, and more are likely to come before his recruitment is over.

Hall, a native of Durham, North Carolina, had a terrific junior season with Moravian Prep, and has continued that success on the amateur circuit with Team Loaded NC. Given his current trajectory, there’s no telling where his recruitment could end up, or what offers he’ll add to his collection.

Don’t be surprised if North Carolina is one of them.
