Former UNC basketball guard Danny Green turned heads with his attire during the Raptors Championship parade on Monday.

It was party time in Toronto as it looked like the entire country was in store for the Toronto Raptors Championship parade, and former UNC basketball guard Danny Green made sure everyone could tell him apart from others.

Celebrating his second NBA Title, Danny Green was in full party mode as he had a little change to his image for the parade.

Green showed up to the Raptors parade with a new mohawk, and a WWE belt that he was carrying over his head for nearly the entire parade.

While on one of the buses, Green told a reporter why he let the hair go.

“I get a chance to relax man,” Green said. “The season is over and we are the last team standing so what better time to do it.”

It’s a far cry from the level headed and low key player fans see on the floor.

Not only was Green on the 2014 San Antonio Spurs NBA Championship team, but he was on the 2009 NCAA Champion North Carolina team that took down the Michigan State Spartans 89-72 in the National Championship game at Ford Field.

Despite having so many championship parades and parties, he did say there was something special about having an entire country behind you and having “nearly 2 million people out here.”

Green averaged 7.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in 27.3 minutes in the NBA Finals, helping  the Raptors to a 4-2 series win to collect their first NBA Title in franchise history.
