The Atlantic Coast Conference has released the game times for a few more UINC Football games in the 2019 season

We have officially hit the under 100-day mark for the start of the 2019 college football season which means we have roughly three months left until the return.

For the North Carolina Tar Heels, spirits are high despite not making a bowl game in the previous two seasons. Mack Brown is back for his second stint as head coach and the Tar Heels are hoping to turn things around.

With Brown putting together an impressive 2019 recruiting class and now what is currently ranked as a Top 10 class in 2020, things are looking up. But that needs to transition over to the football field and it begins in August.

UNC will open up their 2019 schedule with a matchup in Charlotte against South Carolina on August 31st. That game time is still to be determined but it’s setting up to be a late afternoon start.

As we continue to count down the days to the start of the year, some more game times were recently revealed. The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the start times for three more games for the Tar Heels including a date switch.

UNC’s home opener vs the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday, September 7th will be a night game with a 8 p.m EST start. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network and UNC even hosted a special flash sale for the game:

The Tar Heels will hit the road that following week for a non-conference matchup against ACC foe Wake Forest. That game was originally to be played on Saturday the 14th but has since been moved to Friday the 13th.

The primetime showdown will be broadcasted on ESPN with a 6 p.m. ET start. This game is the first of a two-game home-and-home series for the two teams with both games being counted as non-conference games.

UNC’s primetime showdown at Pittsburgh in November will be a Thursday night game as well with a 8 p.m. start time on November 14th.
