Former UNC Basketball standout Danny Green is headed to the Eastern Conference Finals after Kawhi Leonard drained a buzzer-beater

In his first season with the Toronto Raptors, Danny Green is headed to the Eastern Conference Finals. After Philadelphia extended the series with a win on their home court in Game 6, it was Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors coming up big on their home court in a Game 7 on Sunday night.

Game 7 was a back and forth affair for the most part with Leonard missing a free throw leading to a Jimmy Butler layup that tied the game at 90 with just four seconds left. From there, the stage was set and Leonard would have his revenge moment.

The forward hit a long two-pointer in the corner that bounced on the rim four times as time expired to give Toronto a 92-90 Game 7 and series win and a trip to Milwaukee for the Eastern Conference Finals. Check out the shot below:

Leonard finished with a game-high 41 points to lead the Raptors and has come up clutch all season long. He was traded to Toronto in the offseason along with Green from San Antonio.

Green finished Game 7 with just 2 points in 30 minutes played but he did have 4 rebounds and an assist. While Game 7 was his lowest scoring game of the series, Green did score in double digits in Games 3-5.

He finished Game 5 with 17 points, helping the Raptors take a 3-2 series lead with a 125-89 blowout win. He also scored 13 in Game 3 and 11 in Game 4. Green was 13 of 36 from the 3-pt line but did go 5-for-7 from there in Game 5.

Up next for Toronto is a trip to Milwaukee for Games 1 and 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals before returning home for Games 3 and 4. The Bucks finished with the best record in the East and will have home court throughout the conference finals.
