Another big target on UNC Basketball’s 2019 recruiting board is set to announce Tuesday night, hours after the Tar Heels picked up a big five-star commitment

The North Carolina Tar Heels picked up a big commitment for their 2019 recruiting class early Tuesday morning when the No. 3 player overall, Cole Anthony, officially announced his decision to head to Chapel Hill. Anthony becomes the highest rated point guard ever to commit to the Tar Heels in the Roy Williams era, and now gives the Tar Heels a dominant scorer in the 2019 class.

The commitment of Anthony provides a significant boost to the 2019 class for the Tar Heels as he joins center Armando Bacot and guard Jeremiah Francis in the three-man class. But the Tar Heels might not be done just yet.

Hours after Anthony announced his decision, four-star guard Anthony Harris announced he will be making his recruiting decision on Tuesday night.

The former Virginia Tech native tweeted out the news on Tuesday afternoon just hours before he’s scheduled to announce:

Harris is fresh off of a visit to Chapel Hill from this past weekend which could be a good sign for the Tar Heels. UNC may have impressed him enough to earn a silent verbal during the visit and now he’s ready to make it public.

The former Virginia Tech commit decided to open up his recruitment after Buzz Williams left the program to take the Texas A&M job in late March. From there, plenty of schools were showing interest in the recruit as he holds offers from programs like Florida State, Georgetown,UCONN, Florida, Wake Forest, Maryland, Louisville and Indiana.

Harris took a visit to Indiana last week before arriving in Chapel Hill on Sunday and staying through Monday night. It appears as if it will come down to the Tar Heels and Hoosiers but Georgetown, Maryland and Virginia Tech are still being considered as well.

It should also be noted that the Tar Heels are hosting graduate transfer Christian Keeling beginning Tuesday night. UNC would love to continue to add to the perimeter in their 2019 class.
