5. Leaky Black has his coming out party

One of the most versatile players in the ACC, if not the country, Black is another Theo Pinson type player for Carolina.

Already this past year, Roy Williams played Black a lot of minutes in a backup point guard role as well as in a ball-handling role.

At 6-foot-7, Black flashed his potential at times this year, all to be sidetracked after an ankle injury that sidelined him for over a month in ACC play.

Ranked 71st in the 2018 class, Black was originally recruited as a guard, then moved into a hybrid forward role as his high school career progressed with his increase in height. Now, with his size, ball handling, and passing ability, Black has all of the tools to be an all-time great Tar Heel.

Because of the lack of depth in the backcourt, Black will have a plethora of opportunities to showcase his skills.
