Though we are only a couple of days removed from the end of the season, here are your five bold predictions for UNC basketball in 2019-20.

North Carolina’s season came to an abrupt end when they got ousted by a scorching hot Auburn team in the Sweet 16, and losing their top five players, UNC basketball is in a state of flux heading into next year.

There are quite a few players that will be returning to keep the Tar Heels afloat next season though, but none of which jump out as stars. Don’t get me wrong, there may be one or two in that group, but all of it is relatively unproven at this point.

Garrison Brooks returns as the only starter from last year’s squad, and he will be one of the main leaders for next season.

The Tar Heels will have four seniors on the team, but only two who see regular minutes in the rotation in Seventh Woods and Brandon Robinson.

While I fully expect both to have very good years, and foresee Robinson averaging double-digit points, Carolina lacks the amount of talent they have had in the past couple of years.

Armando Bacot and Jeremiah Francis are the only two signees of the 2019 class, but in the running for at least three other McDonald’s All-American’s and three graduate transfers has Carolina in good shape to land a couple of other top players.

Here are my five bold predictions for next year.
