Coby White and Nassir Little are gone. The Tar Heels welcome in 5-star freshmen Cole Anthony and Armando Bacot, though, who both join the UNC starting lineup in year one.

North Carolina also adds up-and-coming sophomore and freakishly sized Leaky Black to the starting five, thanks to his tremendous mismatch-causing height and ability to handle and distribute the ball.

Brandon Robinson moves into the wing spot previously held by Little, and brings much-needed three-point shooting into the lineup after losing Cameron Johnson, Luke Maye and Kenny Williams to graduation.

This lineup, of course, lacks much of the athleticism and explosiveness of the previous year’s, but it’s still one that would finish in the upper third of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Hopes of a national title for this squad might be farther off than the previous versions presented here, but a Sweet 16 or Elite 8 wouldn’t be anywhere outside the realm of possibility.
