12) Andrew Platek

2018-19 stats:

3.8 MPG, 1.1 PPG, 0.3 RPG, 0.2 APG, 0.3 SPG, 0.2 BPG, 0.3 TPG
47.1 FG%, 37.5 3P%, 50.0 FT%

Best game:

11/9 at Elon: Six points, one rebound, one steal, 3-of-4 shooting

Advanced data:

Platek is averaging almost half as many minutes on the court as he did a season ago. All of his numbers are south of what they were as a freshman, with the exception of his three-point shooting percentage, which is up half a point.

12: Platek’s highest point total in a college game. He scored a dozen in 2017 against Portland on 4-of-5 shooting, including 2-of-2 from three-point range and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe.

Synopsis:

According to his coaches, Platek is one of the best shooters on the team; we just haven’t seen much of that yet. Once he’s able to carry his success from practice over to the games, he’s got Wes Miller-like potential from three-point range.
