Get a Commitment from Cole Anthony

The No. 3 overall recruit according to 247Sports.com, Anthony is a do-it-all point guard who immediately changes the outlook of a team.

Anthony is currently a senior at Oak Hill Academy, a program that pumps out constant pro’s at the point guard position, that list includes Ty Lawson, Brandon Jennings, Rajon Rondo, and Steve Blake.

The point guard is an elite scorer from all three levels, becoming much more of a consistent shooter from deep, but is able to get to the free throw line at will using his toughness. With oozing confidence, he is the definition of a floor general and can play both on and off the ball.

Though he is known for his dynamic scoring, he is a terrific rebounder and passer. All of this was on display during a recent performance at the City of Palms invitational where he kicked off the tournament with a 25 point, 12 assists, 9 rebound performance.

The 6-foot-3 guard also showed off his athleticism during the tournament’s dunk contest, in which he won.

With the backcourt situation for the Tar Heels up in the air, 2019 commit Jeremiah Francis’ injury problems and the Coby White a projected late first-round pick in the 2019 NBA draft, Anthony is definitely at the top of the wish list for the Heels in 2019.
