The Big boy Lineup

G – Coby White
G – Cam Johnson
F – Leaky Black
F – Sterling Manley
F – Brandon Huffman

Why?

Since the ACC expanded to 13 teams in 2014 there have been various tempos, and styles of play.

Everyone in the country knows Virginia plays a slow pace controlled by their defense. While other teams like Duke and Notre Dame adjust their systems with the roster they have that season.

There are going to be times when UNC will have to play a bigger lineup just to match up with some teams. Other times a big lineup will give UNC an advantage over smaller teams. Anything that can happen will happen given enough time.

Strengths

This goes without saying but this lineup will be dominating on the glass, with their height, and length; able to play excellent help defense. Smaller teams will have a hard time getting a high quality shot off anywhere on the court.

There’s still enough speed to push the pace and tire the other team out. Hopefully, we’ll see this lineup if Williams decides to play bully ball in conference play. Even if it’s for a couple of minutes, it will be nice to see a glimpse of the big boy lineup.

Weaknesses

There’s a lack of shooting on this squad, as White and Johnson are the only two considered shooters.

Overall the offense will struggle compared to other lineups, and are prone to turn the ball over more. If the Tar Heels have a safe lead this squad can come in and work on a few things to perfect this lineup.
