We track the Early Signing Period for the UNC Football program and their 2019 recruiting class

The Early Signing Period for college football is officially here as recruits can sign their Letter of Intent to the school of their choice beginning on Wednesday.

For the North Carolina Tar Heels, this 2019 recruiting class will be the first for new head coach Mack Brown as he took over in November for Larry Fedora. Brown has been on the recruiting trail over the past few weeks, attempting to sway some recruits to join the Tar Heels.

As it stands going into the Early Signing Period, the Tar Heels have 16 verbal commitments in their 2019 class with the majority of them expected to sign.

They are also in the running for at least four recruits who are set to make their decisions within the next three days. If a recruit doesn’t sign in this early period, the Tar Heels will have until February’s National Signing Day to continue to work on them.

Going into this day, UNC has climbed up the recruiting rankings and the class currently ranks No. 51 overall according to 247 Sports. If thing go their way on Wednesday, that could bump them up to potentially a Top 30 class.

We will keep this page updated as the commitments, news and more come in.
