How far can this team go?

Over the past four years, we’ve seen the Tar Heels reach the Sweet Sixteen three times, the Final Four twice, the National Championship Game twice and have been rewarded with a title. It’s been one heck of a ride despite the disappointing end to the 2017-18 campaign.

But now we are entering a new era of North Carolina Basketball fresh with a Top 10 recruiting class.

It’s not a secret that Little will likely be a one-and-done player and there’s that possibility for White as well.  With UNC losing at least one of those players after this year, it’s important to utilize the talent on this roster as best as possible.

As mentioned before, this team is young. It will be UNC’s youngest team in four-plus years and will be a new challenge for Williams in his career. We keep going back to the development of this team, particularly in the post.

If the Tar Heels can get some production from Manley and Brooks in the post, then it will be an added benefit to the guard play.

There’s a lot of talent on this roster and anything can happen come March but we see the ceiling right now as a Final Four team. Just get to that final weekend and let it play out for you.

With that being said, don’t be discouraged if there is some struggles early on. This team will likely struggle as they try to develop some chemistry and get things right early in the season. It’s going to take some time especially with a loaded non-conference schedule.
