Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are another team that will have to address the linebacker position at some point in the draft. Several mocks have them selecting a wide receiver in the first round leaving the door open to fill another need late.

Baltimore has a rich history at linebacker with Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs, so they are doing something right there.

We aren’t saying Smith will be the next Hall of Famer to go through the town at the position but he could be a good depth move for them late in the draft.

The Ravens do have two sixth round picks and a seventh-round pick which is No. 238 overall in the draft. They were 15th overall last season against the run, allowing 111.2 yards per game to opposing backs.

If Baltimore does decide to take someone like Roquan Smith or Tremaine Edmunds, it’s unlikely they will address it later on in the draft.

Still, going to a team like Baltimore where Smith can just sit for a year and learn might be best for him.
