The jewel of North Carolina’s 2018 class, Nassir Little, made a leap in the Rivals’ final150 ranking. Find out where he and the other future Tar Heels rank.

It has been a great couple of months for Nassir Little. He dominated the McDonald’s All-American game taking home the MVP award and then being named co-MVP of the Jordan Brand classic just a week after.

But it is finally starting to show in the recruiting rankings.

Rivals.com released their final top 150 players in the 2018 class and Nassir Little is the highest he has ever been. He came in at number two on the list, behind only RJ Barrett, a Duke commit.

Dan McDonald of Rivals wrote about how close it was between the two this year.

"“But this time it came down to the Duke signee or North Carolina signee Nassir Little. Little’s performance at the McDonald’s All-American Game made it a neck-and-neck race between the soon-to-be Tobacco Road rivals, but we stuck with Barrett. This one will be fun to follow next year, as well as deep into their NBA careers, because it really was a tough call.”"

Little’s post-high school circuit has really opened up people’s eyes. Many have said he has a little bit of Kawhi Leonard in his game, meaning he has the potential to be one of the best players on the next level too.

It will be interesting to see where the other recruiting outlets have Little in the coming weeks.

As for the other Tar Heel commits, Coby White comes in at 24 and Rechon Black comes in at 78.

McDonald also had some high praise for White, saying he was among the players they thought they had too low.

"“I’m going with Coby White here. He’s going to be a star at North Carolina, and it will happen early. Tar Heel fans were hoping it would be Jalek Felton running the show, but my guess is they’ll end up being very happy with White as the lead guard.”"

The arrival of White to UNC will be much-anticipated and if he can live up to that scouting report, he will be very loved. Many people have questioned the Tar Heels point guard situation for this year. But White can be the answer for UNC.

He has the talent and poise to hold that job from day one.

One other name that Tar Heel fans should watch is Jordan Brown. North Carolina and Brown have been in contact in the game, but they are a real player. Brown appears at 11 in the rankings.

If the Tar Heels can get Brown, it would make this class one of Roy Williams’ best. But even without Brown, Tar Heel fans have a good class coming in.
