Clemson

ESPN’s Paul Biancardi has gone on record saying that Williamson will “pull the upset” and choose South Carolina, but some of the country’s top recruiting analysts such as 247Sports’ Jerry Meyer and Scout’s Evan Daniels, believe Williamson will commit to Clemson.

There are others, here and there, that still believe Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and North Carolina are in the mix, too.

When the dust settles on Saturday night, Zion Williamson will have picked Clemson, giving Brad Brownell and the Tigers their biggest commitment in program history and a head of steam going into next season.

Williamson’s family ties to the program, including that of his stepdad who played for the Tigers, along with the longstanding relationship that Williamson, himself, has with Brownell and his assistant coaches, will greatly impact his decision.

Williamson will be the center of attention each and every night he steps onto the court for Clemson, and the Tigers will likely get pushed into a lot more prime time television slots next season.

Both will help Williamson put his talents on display for the world to see during his one season of college basketball before entering the 2019 NBA Draft.

That combination of things makes Clemson a tough competitor for the other five schools on the list. They all have their perks, but Clemson may offer just enough to sway the young superstar away from the others.
