The latest recruiting scoop on the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball and football programs

The holiday season has officially come and gone.

After a few weeks of celebrating it’s time to enter 2018 where the University of North Carolina hopes to find some more success in its athletic programs.

The year 2017 was a big one for the men’s basketball program as they captured the sixth national championship in program history after beating Gonzaga. As the program enters 2018, they are 12-2 and 1-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The hope is that they can win another ACC regular season title and reach their third-straight Final Four. No matter what happens, the program is in good shape.

UNC’s 2018 basketball recruiting class is among the best in the nation with signees Nassir Little, Rechon Black and Coby White.

Plus, they still have the chance to add phenom Zion Williamson.

As for the football program, it was a disappointing 2017 season after the Tar Heels lost 95 percent of their offense from a year ago. The football team failed to reach a bowl game and is in full rebuild.

Head coach Larry Fedora and his staff have put together an impressive 2018 recruiting class and had almost all of it sign in the Early Signing Period.

Fedora is hoping to add a few top targets still, so his class may not be done yet.

Let’s check out the latest on UNC recruiting.
