2. Will Theo Find Consistent Aggressiveness On The Offensive End?

There is no question Theo Pinson is the best playmaker on the Carolina roster, but he is far from the most consistent player.

With the great plays he brings, he also has his moments of lack of concentration and silly mistakes, but that is what you live with as a Tar Heel fan due to the great plays outweighing those bad plays, most of the time.

Recently though, Pinson has struggled to find his way in the flow of the offense consistently and will thus force the issue if the offense is struggling to get going.

Never a great shooter, Pinson is only shooting 12 percent (3-for-25) from three this season and will sometimes bail the defense out by shooting either contested threes or threes not in the flow of the offense.

We have seen the Swiss army knife that he is throughout the season with games like Bucknell (19-5-6), against Portland (11-9-7), Michigan (8-7-6), and against Tennessee (7-9-8), where he flirted with triple-doubles.

Those are the games the Tar Heels need more of in order to take that next step.

Everyone points to the Wofford game, arguably Pinson’s worst game in a Carolina uniform since becoming a crucial role player, as the type of inconsistent play he brings.

Theo is the energizer bunny for this team, and the Heels will only go as far as his consistent playmaking ability takes them.
