The North CarolinaTar Heels enter conference play with a lot of questions after an up-and-down non-conference schedule.

The defending champions had a lot of questions coming into the season and enter conference play with just as many as when the season started.

A loss at home to Wofford that had the entire basketball world scratching their heads, brought out many questions surrounding the rotation, toughness, and talent of the Tar Heels.

Carolina had a lot of bodies to replace from last year, and so far the rotation has yet to be cemented in stone with Cam Johnson just returning from injury and Seventh Woods out with an injury.

The emergence of Luke Maye and Kenny Williams has been crucial for the Tar Heels, but it is the bench that needs to step up and be a factor going into Atlantic Coast Conference play.

There’s still a lot of basketball to be played from now until that first week of April, so lot’s of things can change. But one thing that remains certain is the fact that conference play will be huge this year for the Tar Heels.

Can they win another ACC regular season title? Or will they be playing from behind in the standings?
