The King Pin

The King Pin is a criminal master.

Large in nature, he appears to be all money and no muscle, but that is where he would get you.

Despite seeming fat, he is, in fact, all muscle. Robust and strong, he could crush an average man in his arms.

The King Pin though is also rich. He controls his vast empire because he has the money and resources to do so and to suffer losses to various heroes who get in his way.

His strength is deceptive, and his money is insurmountable.

The King Pin has tumbled with many a Marvel Hero, namely Spiderman and Daredevil, though it is the latter I want to focus on here. Daredevil was blinded as a young kid but the chemical that blinded him also heightened his senses.

That combined with an extraordinary agility (Daredevil might very well be a mutant), make Daredevil a very formidable adversary for the villains he encounters, including the King Pin.

So who is Georgia Tech’s Daredevil? Taquon Marshall fits that description. Marshall is not blind, but still has an uncanny way of finding the end zone. He leads the ACC with 104 points scored (this does not include passing touchdowns).

Those 104 points additionally rank eighth nationally amongst non-placekicker players.

That’s two points higher than Lamar Jackson in one less game of play (Georgia Tech lost a game due to Hurricane Irma). Marshall’s 17 rushing touchdowns ties Jackson for most in the conference as well.

Georgia Tech will need every bit of Marshall’s uncanny ability to find the end zone as they take on Georgia this weekend in the annual Clean Old-Fashioned Hate battle. The Yellow Jackets need the win to guarantee bowl eligibility, though they probably will go bowling regardless.
