Unbroken

Miami is definitely unbroken. In fact, they are unbeaten and the past two games have been statements to that.

A week after crushing Virginia Tech 28-10, the Hurricanes put on an encore against Notre Dame winning 41-8, and it wasn’t even that close.

Miami held a Fighting Irish squad that was averaging 325 rushing yards per game, to just 109 total yards and no touchdowns on 36 attempts. They also intercepted quarterback Brandon Wimbush two times, doubling his season total.

The Hurricanes also got big games from their offense. Malik Rosier completed 62 percent of his passes and Miami was able to rush the ball 42 times for 5.6 yards per carry and two scores.

Additionally, the Hurricanes clinched their first ever Coastal crown with the loss by Virginia. Miami will look to add their undefeated season when they play the aforementioned Cavaliers in their third straight home game.

Well, that does it for this round of rankings. Before I sign off, here is how I rank the entire ACC after one week (Coastal teams in bold, rankings movement in parentheses):
