Class of 2018 recruit Zion Williamson will be receiving some big visits from top coaches this week.

Just days after Williamson made his official visit to the University of North Carolina over the weekend, he will be receiving a visit from head coach Roy Williams.

According to Adam Zagoria, Roy Williams will be in to see Williamson on Wednesday afternoon confirmed by the recruit’s father.

Williams won’t be the only one in Spartanburg, South Carolina to see the highly-touted recruit.

Bill Self and Mike Krzyzewski will also be visiting Williamson on Wednesday, while coaches from Kentucky and Clemson visited on Tuesday according to Zagoria.

Williamson has generated a lot of hype during his recruitment thanks to his jaw-dropping dunks that have gone viral on social media.

He’s the No. 2 composite player in 247 Sports 2018 rankings and is considering Duke, UNC, Kansas, Clemson and Kentucky.

During Williamson’s recruitment, UNC has always been involved but kind of fell behind last year to the other schools. But after Williamson cancelled a visit to UCLA he decided to take it to UNC and it gave the Tar Heels some hope.

Kansas was the rumored favorite for a long time but both Kentucky and Duke have picked up some steam for the big recruit.

Scout’s Evan Daniels told Kentucky.com recently that the “scuttlebutt is that it’s a race between Kentucky and Duke.”

He went on to say that he likes Duke’s positioning in the race. The Blue Devils are in the running for the No. 1 overall recruit in the class R.J. Barrett as well. If they land both, it could be an historic class for them.

With a visit from Williams today, the hope is that somehow UNC can pull ahead of Duke, Kansas and Kentucky to land the prized recruit.

The Tar Heels already have a solid class with Rechon Black, Coby White and Nassir Little. A commitment from Williamson would be icing on the cake.
