Kennedy Meeks steals the show!

The former UNC center was always one of the more outgoing players to suit up for the Tar Heels and made a big transition from his freshman season to his senior year.

During the 2015 Late Night With Roy event, Meeks stole the show with an impressive performance.

Meeks stole the show with his performance of the late Whitney Houston’s “I will always love you” at halfcourt.

The crowd went wild when the chorus hit as Meeks played the part perfectly by going to the ground and getting into the song. While he may have been nervous at first, Meeks settled down and put on one heck of a show.

It was just one of the highlights from that LNWR event and one we will never forget.

Meeks would go on to have a great career at UNC, helping the Tar Heels win the 2017 national championship. He reached a Sweet 6, two Final Fours and two title games in his four-year career.

The center averaged 12.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in his senior year, both career highs.

He’s currently still seeking to be on an NBA roster after being released by the Toronto Raptors recently.
