We take a look at some of the best moments from recent Late Night With Roy events

The annual Late Night With Roy event marks the unofficial start to the college basketball season for the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Each year the Dean Dome is packed with students and fans that will get their first look at the basketball team for the upcoming season.

The event is a fun way to get things started and has provided many memorable moments over the years.

This year should be no different.

The Tar Heels are coming off a national championship when they beat Gonzaga back in April to complete their “Redemption” mission, after losing the previous year. They return key players from that team and welcome in transfer Cam Johnson as well as a good 2017 recruiting class.

The environment will be great as soon as the event begins and it should be a fun time in the Dean Dome.

For those attending, you’ll want to get there early and make sure you don’t miss the festivities.

But what can we expect?

Well, there will be dancing, singing, dunks, volleyball and just wacky moments overall if this year’s event stays true to past ones.

We’ve put together a list of the best moments from previous Late Night With Roy’s as we get ready for the 2017 edition.
