How did your favorite UNC Tar Heels perform in Week 5?

The biggest storyline this week among former Heels in the NFL was rookie Mitch Trubisky earning his first career start.

His performance had its ups and downs but ultimately showed glimpses of what he is capable of with a little more seasoning.

While 2017’s No. 2 overall pick made his debut, the second overall pick in the class of 2002 continues to add to his sack total.

Julius Peppers once again found the quarterback in the backfield to bring his season sack total to 5.5.

With their receiving corps depleted, the Buffalo Bills turned to return man Brandon Tate.

Tate did not disappoint as he caught his first touchdown since Week 14 of the 2015 season.

Cowboys’ Ryan Switzer and Jonathan Cooper both saw playing time for the Dallas’ primetime matchup versus the Green Bay Packers. Switzer is still looking for his first career catch but returned a kickoff for 25 yards and a punt for -1. Cooper made his second start for the Cowboys and made a huge play by recovering a fumble by Dak Prescott.

On the defensive side of the ball, Robert Quinn exposed the Seahawks offensive line and Tre Boston made his biggest play of the year.

Quinn Collected a sack and two quarterback hits while Boston made the game-sealing interception of Eli Manning.

Eric Ebron continues to struggle and the Detroit Lions’ fanbase has had enough. Ebron suffered through a season-worst 1 catch and six yards receiving against the Carolina Panthers.
