There were a few North Carolina Tar Heels recruiting targets that participated at the USA Basketball Junior Minicamp

Some of the top high school basketball prospects are currently in Colorado Springs for the USA Basketball Junior Minicamp that began Saturday.

The camp will host 54 of the best recruiting prospects from around the country, as they were named to the USA Basketball Junior roster back in August.

It’s hosted by Don Showalter, the head coach of the USA U-17 World Cup Team that will play in 2018.

There are 18 players from this camp that can participate on the 2018 USA Junior National Select Team which will participate in the  21st annual Nike Hoop Summit in April. The other 36 members are eligible for the 2018 USA Basketball Men’s U17 World Cup Team.

Among those is class of 2018 recruit Nassir Little who recently committed to UNC.

Little made his announcement last week, picking the Tar Heels over Georgia Tech and Duke. He became the fist top 10 recruit for Roy Williams in the last four years.

The wing is one of the best overall talent’s in the 2018 class and is showing off his skills at the camp, receiving some praise:

He’s currently the only UNC commit at the camp but the Tar Heels had several targets that participated in the camp.

Here are the UNC targets by class that were in attendance.

Class of 2018: Romeo Langford and Zion Williamson. Class of 2019: Wendell Moore, Vernon Carey and James Wiseman. Class of 2020: Isaiah Todd, Jalen Johnson and Jabri Abdur-Rahim.

The camp wrapped up on Sunday night as the two-day event came to a close for the recruits.

The final rosters for the upcoming tournaments in 2018 will be announced at a later date.
