Another week of college football, means another week of the ACC Coastal Power Rankings.

Week 3 brought, even more, clarity to not only the ACC but the entire football landscape. So what all happened in Week 4? Let’s take a look around the college football map.

In Big Ten country, four undefeated teams fell to three. That is because Penn State stayed the course by eliminating Iowa from contention.

The Nittany Lions won a close one after three blowouts to start the season. Saquon Barkley continued his Heisman quest finishing with 358 all-purpose yards and a touchdown.

Michigan and Wisconsin also remain undefeated, the former by beating Purdue and the latter by not playing this past weekend.

Meanwhile, Iowa joins Ohio State as the teams next in line.

Moving west to the Pac-12 where Washington and USC did nothing to stop their head-to-head collision course for the Pac 12 championship game. Washington finally got their statement game crushing Colorado in Boulder.

USC, on the other hand, continues to look shaky as they struggled to beat Cal and Sam Darnold threw his seventh interception of the season. Luckily for the Trojans the Golden Bears were even more generous with the ball, turning it over six times.

Down in the Southwest, we arrive in Big 12 country where the Bedlam Dream took a bit of a hit this past weekend. Oklahoma did their part holding on to beat a winless Baylor team in Waco as Baker Mayfield kept the Heisman heat going with another three touchdowns.

However, Oklahoma State could not acquiesce the invitation as TCU decided to storm the party with a big road win against the Cowboys. Bedlam might still have some fireworks but if it does it will probably be bad news for the Big 12 again.

For the past two weeks, I have been saying the SEC is a two-team race.

Despite this people have kept presenting challenger after challenger. Well after Georgia destroyed Mississippi State and Alabama crushed Vanderbilt, once again the SEC is a two-team race.

Don’t believe me?

Okay, present your next challenger but after this past weekend, that list has gotten quite small.

All that is left is the ACC. Clemson continues to reign supreme and seems to be a lock to win the Atlantic, especially after Florida State’s recent defeat drops them to 0-2 on the season. NC State may have something to say about this but they may be it.

Meanwhile the Coastal has three undefeated teams and two more with legit divisional chances, but we will get into that in the rankings.

If you are wondering how all that action impacted my top 10, check it out here:

Well with all that settled let’s delve into this week’s ACC Coastal rankings. This week Alan Jackson takes the reigns to supply our rank headings.

First up is the team who is currently riding a three game losing streak into these rankings.
