Georgia Tech got the week off when UCF had to cancel due to lingering effects from Hurricane Irma. They should be 2-0 this season and after the way Tennessee dropped that game to a punchless Florida, the Yellow Jackets maybe wondering why they aren’t.

The Yellow Jackets hopefully took that extra week to get ready for their key ACC Coastal showdown against Pittsburgh.

It will be the first ACC regular season game for both teams and will go a long way to help shaping the race for the ACC crown.

Miami gets lumped into the same page as Georgia Tech as the two teams have a lot in common.

Both team had their Florida road game cancelled due to the effects of Hurricane Irma. Both teams had to move their Thursday night ACC Coastal contest to the following Saturday to help the ACC make up the postponed Miami FSU contest.

Both teams also only have one win and it’s against a FCS school. The only difference is that Tech has the one loss, though it was to a Power Five school something Miami hasn’t played yet this season.

That will still be the case this week when the Hurricanes return to play football, this time against Toldeo. The Rockets are 3-0 but their biggest win was probably a road victory over Nevada.
