Another week of college football, means another week of the ACC Coastal Power Rankings.

Week 2 brought excitement and a little more clarity to not only the ACC but the entire football landscape. Which is good because a lot of the major games failed to meet the hype.

So what all happened in Week 3? Let’s take a look around the college football map.

In Big Ten country,  four teams remain undefeated as Michigan, Penn State, and Iowa all big at home. Wait that’s only three teams. That’s right because Wisconsin won big on the road at BYU.

The four schools combined to outscore their opponents 156-33.

Of course, the schools they beat are a combined 3-8 on the season, but still. Also don’t forget about Ohio State who also won big at home.

Moving west to the Pac-12 where Washington and USC look to be on a head-to-head collision course for the Pac 12 championship game. Of course, looks can be deceiving as it is hard to tell just how good either team is.

Despite getting three games at home this season, the Trojans could just as easily be 1-2 as 3-0. Their quarterback has six interceptions and only seven touchdowns. Their one blowout win was against a ranked Stanford team, so they clearly have talent.

Meanwhile, there has been no drama involved in Washington’s 3-0 start. The Huskies have outscored their opponents 141-37. However, those opponents are 4-5 on the season and none play in a power five conference.

Down in the Southwest, we arrive in Big 12 country where the Heisman Trophy is taking a look at renting a condo this offseason.

Once again Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are victorious as both tout quarterbacks equally worthy of the Heisman crown.

Mason Rudolph and Baker Mayfield have combined to throw for 2181 yards, 21 touchdowns, and just one interception over six games. They also are both on teams that are 3-0 and ranked in the top seven. Watch out Bedlam, the Sooner state means business this year.

The SEC continues its case that it is at best a two-team race for the title game in Atlanta. Georgia continues to be the best team in the east thanks to the work of Nick Chubb. Meanwhile, Alabama continues to win, win, and win some more.

The rest of the SEC lies in ruins as both Florida and Tennessee appear offensively inept and LSU and Auburn cant get out of their own ways.

All that is left is the ACC where really only one thing is certain: there is Clemson and everyone else, though the Seminoles may have something to say about that as they return to playing football this week after a two-week Irma hiatus.

If you are wondering how all that action impacted my top 10, check it out here:

Well with all that settled let’s delve into this week’s ACC Coastal rankings. This week Blake Shelton gets the call to supply our rank headings.

First up is the team whose only win is a seven point overtime victory over an FCS squad.
