Another week of college football, means another week of the ACC Coastal Power Rankings.

Week 1 brought anticipation that for the most part fizzled out. Week 2, on the other hand, brought excitement and a little more clarity to the entire football landscape.

So what all happened in Week 2? Let’s take a look around the college football map.

In Big Ten country,  Michigan and Penn State still reign supreme. Saquon Barkley kept his Heisman hype on track with 133 total yards and two scores. The Wolverines continued to show they reload and not rebuild with a 22-point win over Cincinnati.

Moving west to the Pac-12 where quarterbacks are king.

Future top five picks Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen each had big games as USC and UCLA both improved to 2-0 on the season.

Darnold finished with 316 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Stanford, while Rosen was a scintillating 22-for-25 with five touchdowns in a beat down of Hawaii.

Down in the Southwest, we arrive in Big 12 country where Oklahoma is the place to be. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are both 2-0 and ranked in the top 10. If things continue it is looking like Bedlam will decide the Big 12 and maybe even a spot in the CFP.

The SEC is starting to become a two team race for the title game in Atlanta. Georgia is clearly the best team in the east with a one point win at Notre Dame. Meanwhile, Alabama continues to destroy everything in its path.

If you are curious about the rest of the SEC look no further than Florida and Auburn who can’t seem to muster any offense to compete with the big boys.

All that is left is the ACC where there are two truths. One Clemson might have the best defense in the country. And two if you don’t think Lamar Jackson isn’t a legit threat to repeat as Heisman winner, you haven’t been watching.

If you are wondering how all that action impacted my top 10, check it out here:

Well with all that settled let’s delve into this week’s ACC Coastal rankings. This week I’ve turned to the great Kenny Rogers to supply our rank headings.

First up the only coastal team that is 0-2 on the season.
