The 2017-18 North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball schedule is officially set as the team looks to repeat as national champions.

After the release of conference opponents last month, the only thing left for the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball schedule was the times and dates.

We knew that UNC would open its 2017-18 title defense at home against Northern Iowa on Friday, November 10th as well as their nonconference schedule.

But as for the ACC schedule? Well, it’s finally here.

The Tar Heels will open the 2017-18 ACC schedule at home against Wake Forest on December 30th with a time still to be announced.

Following that, they will play back-to-back road games at Florida State and Virginia before returning home to take on Boston College on January 9th.

UNC doesn’t have more than three-straight home games on their ACC schedule, playing two-straight twice this season. The first comes January 16th and 20th when they host Clemson and Georgia Tech.

The second comes at the stretch of the final eight games, hosting Pittsburgh on February 3 and Duke on Feb. 8th.

UNC’s final four games are a tough stretch, playing three on the road beginning with at Louisville on Feb. 17 then at Syracuse Feb. 21 before returning home to play Miami on Feb. 27 for senior night.

The Tar Heels will close out the ACC schedule playing at Duke on March 3 as part of their annual home-and-home series.

The ACC also announced that the Conference Tournament will begin Tuesday, March 6th and the championship will be held Saturday, March 10. The tournament will take place at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York.
