With the return of college football, comes the return of the ACC Coastal Power Rankings.

Did you miss me?

It’s alright if you don’t want to acknowledge it, we both know you did. It has been nine months since the last time I ranked the ACC Coastal division and it is just so exciting to have college football back and running strong.

Anyways with a new college football year, I have decided to kick things up a bit and with that, I have made a few changes to the rankings this season. I know the saying is if isn’t broke don’t fix it, but at the same time, there is nothing wrong adding a little extra either.

The first change I made is that I have added a video. Each week I will be doing a ranking of the top ten teams in college football. Here is my preseason premiere offering:

The second thing I will be doing will come at the end. In the past all I have done is rank the ACC Coastal and that still won’t change. However this year, after the top team is shown, I will have a ranking of the entire ACC.

This ranking won’t go into any depth, but will give a broader picture, just as the video.

Finally, taking a cue from some other outlet’s like ESPN’s Bottom 10 and That 70’s Show, this years transition slide will be named after the songs of an artist.

Since the ACC is in the south, these artists will all be from the Country music world. To open things up I have chosen Garth Brooks to kick things off right. ‘

So with everything worked out let’s get started as always with the bottom of the rankings and work up from there.
