The Diamond Heels turn their attention to the ACC Tournament as the road to Omaha continues

To say the North Carolina Tar Heels baseball team cruised through Atlantic Coast Conference play is an understatement.

UNC won all 10 ACC series they played in this season, finishing the regular season with a 44-11 overall record and a 23-7 conference record in 2017.

Now the Tar Heels turn their attention to the ACC Tournament.

The conference revealed its seeds and pools for the upcoming 2017 tournament, with the Tar Heels earning the No. 2 seed behind just No. 1 Louisville.

UNC will open their tournament on Wednesday afternoon at Louisville Slugger Field in Louisville, Kentucky against Boston College at 3 p.m. The Tar Heels will play again on Friday at 7 p.m. against NC State to close out Pool B.

Here are the official seeds and pools as announced by the ACC:

The winner of each pool will then move on to the semifinals on Saturday, playing in a single-elimination format from there on out.

Saturday’s winners will then advance to the Conference Championship Game on Sunday. Fans can watch all of the games on the WatchESPN app and Sunday’s championship game will be televised live on ESPN2.
