The North Carolina Tar Heels didn’t get the news they wanted in early May when five-star recruit Kevin Knox announced he was going to Kentucky.

After offering the recruit 18 months ago, they couldn’t land their target and instead will now wait for freshman Tony Bradley’s NBA decision. UNC may have missed out on Knox but if Bradley Jr. decides to come back it will certainly boost the spirits of Tar Heels fans.

With the National Signing Day Deadline approaching on May 17, the Tar Heels have likely rounded out their 2017 class.

If that’s the case, UNC will welcome five recruits in Jalek Felton, Garrison Brooks, Brandon Huffman, Andrew Platek and Sterling Manley.

It’s not rated as a top 10 class but with the talent that is coming back for the Tar Heels, it’s good enough to give them a chance to repeat as Atlantic Coast Conference champions and make a run back to the Final Four.

But where do the Tar Heels stand as far as future classes? It’s time to shift to the incoming classes for 2018 and 2019, seeing what the Tar Heels have signed and targets they are pursuing.
