Sixth Man: Danny Green (’05-’09)

Danny green is the definition of a Swiss Army Knife. For his career he averaged 9.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 steals.

Green is the only Tar Heel to ever have 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 200 assists, 100 blocks, and 100 steals.

One of the most underrated players in Roy Williams’ era, Green was extremely important to the 2009 National Championship team. That year, he averaged 13.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists.

After having a rough first couple stints in the NBA, Green found himself a home in San Antonio. He has been the full-time starter for the past couple of years and has a career average of 8.9 points and 3.4 rebounds.
