Point Guard: Ty Lawson (’06-’09)

One of the quickest guards to ever play college basketball, Lawson was unstoppable leading the Carolina transition game.

With an average of 16.6 points and 6.6 assists, Lawson won ACC Player of the Year his junior season (2009), and led the Tar Heels to a national championship.

His awards didn’t stop there, though. That year, he was a second team All-American, Bob Cousy Award winner (top point guard in the country) and first team All-ACC selection.

He finished his career with an average of 13.1 points and 5.8 assists per game.

Lawson is currently on the Sacramento Kings, averaging 9.7 points and 4.7 assists a game.
