Center: Sean May (’02-’05)

One of the most dominant big guys in the early to mid-2000’s, May led the Tar Heels to a national championship his final year in Chapel Hill.

During his career, he averaged 15.8 points and 10 rebounds a game.

Leading the team his entire junior year, he averaged 17.5 ppg and 10.7 rpg. Scoring 26 points in the National Championship game, he received the MOP of the Final Four to go along with his second team All-American award.

Though his pro career was marred by knee injuries, he played in the NBA and overseas for 10 years.

May is currently on staff for the Tar Heels and is a continued crowd favorite.
