The Leg

Position: Kicker

Measurements: 6-foot-6, 315-pounds

Last Season: Made 15-of-21 field goals  attempts and 51-of-52 extra point attempts.

What is needed: Weiller would fit well on a team in need of a kicker. Weather is not a problem for this guy, though a dome is always nice.

Best Fits: Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens

New York Giants: The Giants are the only team currently without a kicker. The Giants could take Weiller with the 241st overall pick but more likely than not would sign him as a free agent camp leg, with a chance to become the starter.

Buffalo Bills: It’s a good thing weather isn’t an issue, as New York seems to be Weiller’s Best Fit. The Bills just signed Steven Hauschka, but he struggled last year with Seattle.

Like with the Giants, Weiller would more likely than not be signed as an undrafted free agent as a camp leg, which would give him the opportunity to compete for a starting spot.

If you wondering where former players like Mikey Bart, Dez Lawrence, or Dominique Green are, well like Weiller they are most likely to go undrafted. That doesn’t mean you won’t see them on Sundays, just not on the draft board.

Of course, anybody could get drafted or not. No one knows when a team might fall in love with someone or not. So get ready, the draft will be a crazy one. Hopefully the Tar Heels can get back to owning April at the end as well as at the beginning.
