Don’t let your guard down

Position: Offensive Guard

Measurements: 6-foot-3, 300-pounds

What is needed: Peterson would fit well on a team in need of offensive line depth, particularly in the middle. Also a team that might need a left guard.

Best Fits: Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins continue to look for ways to strengthen their line to protect quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Peterson would provide depth in Miami and could be the Dolphins pick with the 223rd overall selection in the seventh round.

Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals just lost starter Kevin Zeitler to the Browns. Peterson could join in the mix to compete for that starting spot while at worst case providing depth to help protect Andy Dalton.

The Bengals have the 227th overall pick in the seventh round. That would be a likely pick for them to roll the dice on Peterson.

Indianapolis Colts: Like the other two teams, the Colts are looking for interior help to assist in protecting their Franchise quarterback, Andrew Luck. Also, like the other two places Peterson would provide depth while also having a chance to compete to start.

The Colts do not have a seventh round pick. They would either have to trade down earlier, picking one up, trade back in, or hope Peterson goes undrafted.
