Duane Notice will be best remembered for two plays at the end of the game against Florida. One was a travel that wasn’t called with the Gators down two points. The other was a dunk that put Florida away for good. In four NCAA Tournament games, Notice is averaging 11 points, 4.5 rebounds, and three assists.
Like Dozier, Notice has been a strong force for South Carolina. Dozier is in the top ten in shooting percentage and three-pointers made. He has also in the top ten in fewest turnovers, despite being in the top five in minutes played.
His best tournament game came in a win over Duke in the second round. In that game, Notice had 17 points and four rebounds. Additionally, he had three steals while shooting 6-of-8 from the floor for the Gamecocks.
The reigning ACC Player of the Year has had his ups and downs shooting, but has done so many other things for the Tar Heels. He was rewarded for his efforts by being named to tournament’s All-South Region team.
In four NCAA Tournament games, Jackson is averaging 19.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists and 1.5 steals. Jackson leads all remaining players in assists, while also ranking in the top five in points scored, three-pointers made, steals, and the intangibles percentage.
Additionally, he ranks in the top ten in rebounds and minutes played. Jackson’s best tournament game came in a win over Arkansas in the second round. In that game, Jackson had 15 points and eight rebounds. He also had five assists and five steals for the Tar Heels.
