Players 13 and 14

Hicks has had an up and down season mainly due to foul trouble. Those troubles have continued in the tournament where Hicks has 12 fouls, the next closest Tar Heel has six.

Hicks is averaging 9.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, being a big part of the Tar Heels success. Hicks ranks in the top ten in assists and the top five in steals among remaining players. However, his foul trouble has led to zero blocks in the tournament.

His best tournament game came in a win over Texas Southern in the First Round. In that game, Hicks had 17 points and six rebounds. More importantly, Hicks has found a way to stay out of foul trouble in most tournament games.

Karnowski is the only center to make this list. It may be a dying breed in college, just nobody told Karnowski.

In four tournament games, Karnowski is averaging 9.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. Karnowski ranks in the top ten in true shooting percentage and total blocks.

His best tournament game came in a win over West Virginia in the Sweet Sixteen. In that game, Karnowski had 13 points and five rebounds. Additionally he had two assists and shot 6-of-8 from the floor for the Bulldogs.
