Hicks ranks in the top ten in assists and the top five in steals among remaining players. However, his foul trouble has led to zero blocks in the tournament.
His best tournament game came in a win over Texas Southern in the First Round. In that game, Hicks had 17 points and six rebounds. More importantly, Hicks has found a way to stay out of foul trouble in most tournament games.

His best tournament game came in a win over West Virginia in the Sweet Sixteen. In that game, Karnowski had 13 points and five rebounds. Additionally he had two assists and shot 6-of-8 from the floor for the Bulldogs.
