The North Carolina Tar Heels and Butler Bulldogs are set to meet in the Sweet 16 of the 2017 NCAA Tournament

In a crazy weekend in March Madness where we saw multiple top seeds go down, the Tar Heels managed to squeak by their second round opponent, Arkansas, to remain alive and move on to the Sweet 16.

Now the Tar Heels face another scrappy team in the Butler Bulldogs, for a chance to go to the Elite 8.

Most of these players have matched up before, back in the 2014 Battle 4 Atlantis First Round.

Nine total players on both rosters played in that matchup, though most of them didn’t play major roles on their respective teams.

Butler ran away with that game in the second half and took down the Heels 74-66. It was the second-straight time the Bulldogs had pulled off an upset of the Tar Heels in a November tournament.
