The Tar Heels are the No. 1 seed in the South Region of the bracket this year. How does UNC rank against the other teams in the South Region?

It is that time of year once again.

The time when life stops and avid college basketball fans hunker down for three weeks pulling for upsets, Cinderella stories, and their favorite team, if said team is good enough to make it.

It is also a time for redemption.

Tar Heel fans know this all too well, as the boys in blue came one devastating shot away from winning the whole thing last season. Clemson was able to find redemption against Alabama this season, why not UNC.

For that to happen the Tar Heels will have to win their own region and make it to the Final Four.

Last year, the Tar Heels were kings of the East. This season they are tops in the South. So how do the teams in South rank on the way to Phoenix?
