Players 15 and 16

Allen was a transfer from Maryland, playing in his second season with the Hokies. Allen’s great play not only garnered him All-ACC honorable mention honors but the ACC Sixth Man of the Year award as well.

In 29 games this season, Allen had 13.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. Though second on the team in points, he was more efficient with them than Zach LeDay, finishing in the top-five in the ACC in true shooting percentage.

Allen’s best game came in a loss to Louisville on Saturday, February 18th. In the loss Allen scored 25 points, a season high, while shooting 6-for-8 from behind the arc. The game will be remembered for the two teams combing for 29-of-48 (60.4 percent) from downtown.

Luther was one of Pittsburgh’s top bench players, though he did miss 12 games during the conference season. On the season, Luther averaged 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game over the span of 19 games. Luther was also very efficient in his shooting finishing in the top ten in shooting percentage.

Luther’s best game came in a win over Rice on Saturday, December 17th. In that game he scored 20 points and shot 8-for-8 from the floor, while grabbing seven rebounds. He also was perfect from beyond the arc and from the charity stripe.
