Players 17 and 18

Johnson was a sniper for Kevin Stallings’ Panther team. In 31 games, Johnson averaged 11.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Johnson also hit a team leading 74 three pointers which was good enough for top ten in the ACC.

Johnson’s best game came on Tuesday, January 31 in a win over Syracuse. In that game, Johnson scored 22 points on 6-of-8 shooting from behind the arc. He also grabbed five boards and gathered two steals.

Berry is the first Tar Heel in these rankings. The junior guard won MVP in the Maui tournament and was also honored with his second team All-ACC placement. In 30 games this season, Berry is averaging 15.1 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game.

Berry led the first-place Tar Heels in assists and steals, which were also both top-10 in the ACC. Berry was also top-10 in three-pointers made with 75 on the season.

Berry’s best game came in a win against Clemson on Tuesday, January 3rd. In that game, Berry scored 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting from the field. He also hit 7-of-10 from downtown while grabbing five boards, dishing out three assists, and gathering two steals.
