Players 21 and 22

Lammers is the first of two centers to make this list. Honestly, Josh Pastner does not win ACC Coach of the Year without the stellar play of his junior big man who was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year and made the All-ACC second team.

On the season, Lammers averaged 14.6 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks per game. His blocks per game was not only tops on his team and in the ACC, but also ranked third nationally. Lammers additionally ranked top-five in total rebounds and minutes played in the ACC as well as ranking top-10 in intangibles percentage.

Lammers’ best game came in a win over Southern on Monday, November 14th when he had a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. It was his first double-double of the season. He also had nine blocked shots, which was a season-high, and set the tone for his impressive season.

Bowman made the All-ACC freshman team this season. In 31 games he averaged 14.5 points, five rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. His points per game was second on the team and third among all freshmen. Bowman was also the third and final player on this list to not rank in the top-10 in any category.

Bowman’s best game came in a loss against North Carolina on Saturday, January 21st. In that game he scored 33 points on 13-of-19 shooting. He also hit 7-of-9 three pointers while grabbing three rebounds and dishing out four assists.
