Players 1 and 2

Jonathan Isaac was every bit the impact player that most thought he would be as a freshman. Isaac made the ACC-All Freshman team and also received All-ACC honorable mention honors. In 28 games, Isaac averaged 12.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks.

Isaac’s rebounding and blocks average were tops on his team and both were tops among all freshmen. Isaac was also top-10 in the ACC in total blocks.

Like Jefferson, Isaac also finished in the top-10 in both true shooting and intangibles percentage, though Isaac was actually top-five in intangibles percentage.

Issac’s best game came in a win over Notre Dame on Wednesday, January 18th. In that game Isaac grabbed 10 boards and scored 23 points. This was Isaac’s fourth double-double on the season and his second of what would be three in a row to help the Seminoles hold on at home against the Irish.

Collins was a beast in his second season with the Demon Deacons. He was rewarded with first team All-ACC honors as well as being voted the ACC’s Most Improved Player. Collins also finished second in the ACC Player of the Year voting.

In 30 games, Collins averaged 19.1 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game. Collins was the only player to rank in the top-five in both true shooting and intangibles percentages. Collins also ranked top-five in rebounds, blocks, and free-throw attempts, as well as being ranked in the top-10 in total points.

Collin’s best game came on Tuesday, January 31st in a win over Boston College. Collins finished with his ninth double-double of the season, grabbing 16 rebounds and putting in 26 points. He also went 8-of-10 from the free-throw line and had three blocks.

Well there you have it; the ACC ultimate player rankings. Now comes the big part, the ACC tournament and the NCAA tournament. Not all of these players will play in both, but the ones who do will have the chance to show why they truly belong on this list.
